Will I vote?

The days are passing and I still haven't voted! I have only voted once in my life. I would like to vote this year though. For sure I know who I'm voting for here locally. But for president, I still haven't made up my mind. I've been watching its and bits of pieces of the debates. I would like to see more of the debates before I make up my mind. Abel wants me to vote for Hillary Clinton. This is what he says why he would vote for Hillary....."If she could forgive Bill, I can forgive any future mistakes she might make." Of course, he's just kidding, but it makes me laugh every time he says it. He gets mad (jokingly) when I say "Go Obama!"

I don't know alot about all these politics. Although I do hear that Texas is very important; therefore, since I'm a Texan, I will vote!

*My Shadow*

I got a new phone yesterday!! It is so so neat! It is called the Copper Shadow from Tmobile. It's a cool phone! It's the most high tech phone I've ever had. Adrian messed up my other phone "Thanks mijo, good job :)" Anyways, I'm so excited!!! I've even got the hook up at.....some places for web service! So COOL!

Lil' Mechanic

Adrian was practicing yesterday...He looked like he knew what he was doing! Like father, like son. Daddy's little helper.

Wii

Wii got it! The Nintendo Wii that is! Nombre, Ally is so excited! We got it yesterday on Sunday. It all started like this....

I got a phone call from my brother -in-law...IgNacho on Sunday morning, about 8:15 am. He asked me if Ihad already gone to Target. Of course I had not, and I was wondering why he was asking me? Anyways, I don't think he sleeps on Saturday nights just waiting to see the ads on Sunday! He loves to get deals! Which is not a bad thing, because we benefit aswell. So, he said that Target was advertising the Wii. He said that meant that they had to have some in stock! We had already been looking around, and had not found any.

By 8:30 a.m I was on my way...and I bought it! Thank God it already comes with some games, because they are expensive! I can't wait to test out all the neat things it is capable of doing. I would like to buy the Mario Cart game that is coming out next month, and also another one that has to do with excercise.

Meet My Mom, "Irma"

My mom and I went to a baby shower on Saturday. It is always fun hanging out with family! I just wanted to share this picture of my mom & I. I love her so much, yet I don't think I show it enough. I don't visit her as much as I should :( My mom is so hilarious. As I've said before, she's always doing something to crack us up. She doesn't even have to try, she's a natural. I don't think I've mentioned the time she went to buy her 1st pair of contacts....

She went to buy them there at the mall. To make a long story short, she had the clerk there for close to or over an hour. She was trying to teach my mom how to put them on. Finally, after being there so long, the lady told my mom, good, you already learned...and my mom still had NOT learned. Pobresita my mom! She just wanted to get rid of my mommy!

I think she said that the first night trying to remove her contacts at home, she was up until 1 or 2 am! It makes me laugh just picturing her! I got a chance to see my mom attempting to put them on and taking them off during her 1st days. Boy, was that FUNNY! To take them off, she would keep poking her eye, but she would close it at the same time, so she wouldn't even get close to removing the contact!

One time she called her best friend to please go go over to her house to help her find one the contacts. She was trying to put them on, but she had lost one! Just the way she told me that she was going crazy looking for it everywhere cracked me up! She had told her friend "me tienes que ayudar!" She finally found it stuck to the wall, so she cancelled the "one eyed willy" code. LOL!

Ally & Adrian's 1st BUILD-A-BEAR!

About 2 weeks ago, Ally & Adrian visited BUILD-A-BEAR for the first time. They had a good time! There are so many options! I even want one for myself! I would like the little monkey. Anyways, you also need a lot of money!

Adrian chose a little puppy we named "Sparky" and Ally chose a pink bear, which she named "Shayla." Adrian's Sparky barks and wags his tail, so adorable!

I don't HUG my purse anymore!

Just today I realized that I don't hug my purse when I sit down! Some might understand what I'm talking about and some might not. I noticed I placed my purse down while I was sitting. For years now, I have had that little habit. A habit alot of "gorditas" have. Anyways, felt nice.

Where's Adrian's "Willy?"

I had to jot this down because I think it is so funny! Adrian Ethan knows what & where his willy is. When I am changing his diaper, I can ask him where is it at? And he will point at it. He sometimes points too close and he touches it. It must feel weird to him because he opens his hands like he has touched something yucky!

However, when I ask Adrian in public or infront of family "Where's your willy?" He shrugs his shoulders and does his little hands like "I don't know?" He is so small! Yet he knows the difference! I believe he is a respectful 18 month-old little man! We get a kick out of it! My chiquito!

The FAMILY man feeling, has just sunk in

Mr. Abel Villegas was a busy body today! I even got kicked out of the house so he could work comfortably. Adrian and I went to the mall while he was here at home re-arranging furniture and buying some new stuff for the living room. One of the things he bought is this 19 inch monitor. Boy is it bright. I was used to the older dark looking monitor.

Anyways, before we hit the mall, Adrian and I were at the doctors office. While we were there...Abel was shopping. He called me and told me that he just seen and was interested in an Explorer. By the time I knew it, we were heading out there to buy it! We brought it home! We now have a new member in the family! It's not new, but I didn't want another car payment! So I am happy.

Long story short...late in the evening we went shopping at Wally-Martinez. We bought several things we needed. Some of them were big items, which they all happen to fit in our new Explorer! When Abel finished loading the items, it hit him...."the FAMILY man feeling." He no longer owned a MUSTANG! I told him to join the club. He now knows how I felt when we sold my mustang and got the Taurus. On the short trip home, I kept laughing....he is no longer a COOL dad! Hee Hee!

He is happy about this change though. We have to grow up sooner or later. He did tell me that Adrian and him will have their own project car later. :)

LITTLE valentine, big VALENTINE

tODAY wAS A fIRST fOR mE. i sTAYED hOME ON Valentine's DAY!

I had to stay because Adrian Ethan was feeling a little under the weather. It just felt different staying home on this day... and with my LITTLE valentine. I enjoyed it though! MY Big VALENTINE had to work hard for his money! Ally was a faithful student. She attended school with another ear infection. She felt good all day though. The day flew so fast!

Abel & I ate a botana here at home for lunch. It was still romantic. I made him sweet tea, on this sweet day. We had dinner @ the Y-Barras. Nacho made some good steaks and chicken breasts. Mmm, everything was good. Had I not been so full.....I could've even had some wine!

I was a little bad today...some little chocolates here and there, cupcake, and MMMMMMMMMM some chocolate covered strawberries! The only reason I did this was because....

The Gifts: I got Abel the TUROK game for his XBOX. AWE, and he got me a purse I had really liked. I call her/him "Melman."



Oh, Oh, I almost forgot to mention the card I got my baby....it had a button (that he actually wore at work). The button said "I'd be lost without my wife." I couldn't believe he wore it! I love all my VALENTINES!

Habibi Fun Time!

It had been a while since I had gone Bellydancing. I finally made it today! I had so much fun, as I always do. We are currently on workout #8. I started dancing back in November of 2006. Our instructor "Elda" is a very sweet gal and she can move! I have learned alot of moves, but some, I just can't get. Today Jenny was trying to teach me one...I just couldn't get it! Nevertheless, I had a blast. I took my camera today to mess around and we took some crazy pics! Incase your not aware, don't take out a camera infront of us! We will hog it! LOL! I was afraid we were going to get kicked out today! De tanto reir! I hope I can keep going! OH, THANK YOU TO OUR PHOTOGRAPHER....JESSICA!

What is a WOMAN to do with her L-O-U-D laugh?

This past weekend I laughed alot. I guess you could say I had a good time! On the way back, my hunny told me that one of the days, he was in another room, and that he could hear me laughing all the way to where he was at! I couldn't remember why I must have been laughing so loud? He said that all he could remember telling himself is........"que awite!" "Why is Adriana laughing like that?" He knew there were guest at his brothers house, and what were they going to think?

Abel began to imitate me in the car! I couldn't help but to c-r-a-c-k up at the way I supposedly sound! It does sound kinda embarrasing! I then got serious and I told him that I would try to change my laugh. He still kept making me laugh.......meanwhile....I was practicing my new laugh.....with my mouth closed. He didn't like it! Pues make up your mind BABE! He told me that I better keep laughing like I always do. We kept going back and forth with the issue. He said that's how he met me and that he loved me and it didn't matter how I laughed. Needless to say...he was tickling me to hear me laugh, go figure. He later told me he was only kidding about the "que awite." HMMM?

Laughing is so contagious! I love it! But seriously, maybe I should have a sofisitcated laugh. Boy, is that going to be hard! But I will try.

No lo puedo creer, pero si lo creo

Este BLOG lo voy acer en espanol porque voy a hablar de QUITA KILOS, not taquitos, like some people say. Ayer, fui a Brownsville para la sita de cada Jueves. Deveras que no queria ir porque me he portado tan mal con mis comidas. He comido en Olive Garden, Peter Piper, Wallbangers, Super Bowl party, en la casa de la suergra, y muchas otras partes. No me comi nada saludable. Y todo este fin de semana me senti mal, repite y repite! Que fello!

Y ayer que fui a pesarme, pese cinco libras mas!!!! No lo podia creer, pero si lo crei porque trage mucho! Estava tan averguensada! Siempre rebajo, y ya esperan eso de mi! Que awite hoy!

Pero ojala que ya no suceda esto! Me voy a portar bien! Esto es todo por hoy. Y si no pueden leer en espanol, sorio!

YUP, 1st time

This past Tuesday was my very 1st time at a Wallbangers! I usually eat a burger on Tuesdays, but today I ate more than one. Well, at least it seemed like more than 1. It was good! I enjoyed the environment and everything else. We shall go back!

Ally did not feel like eating anything, she was just thirsty. My burger was supposed to be stuffed with cheddar and jalapenos. Instead it was just added on top....it was still good. Adrian just had ketchup and ketchup with one fry.

My amigo Sal went with us too. He is always, always there. So that is why I called him the "Wallbangers Padrino." Till next time!

How The Heart Plays Tricks On Me

I'm not sure if it was my heart or my mind playing tricks on me tonight. As usual, every Monday night, I make plans to attend BELLYDANCING class. For some reason or another, I don't always make it! Tonight I was gunghough about going to class. As soon as I got home, I was rushing to put away clothes, so I could go. When I was done, Abel came home and he wanted to take the kiddos out for dinner. He knew where I wanted to go so he told me I could go to the gym. (I could tell he really meant it.) He said he could go with the kids, that he didn't mind. Of course, I felt so guilty!! I kinda got mad also, I have not been to class in almost two weeks! After debating in my mind, I decided to go bellydancing! I felt comfortable with my decision. So, as I was walking out with my bellydancing bag and Abel was walking out with mijos "Cars" diaper bag, it hit me.... I wanted to go with my family. I told Abel to wait for me, I had to go change. This decision felt so so good. I didn't even think twice at that moment. I knew that being with my family was more important. For this I know, at the end, my heart played NO tricks on me.

We took Allyson Skyla to eat at her favorite restaurant....OLIVE GARDEN. I love my family! Maybe next time I'll make it to class.

Mr. Socko

When I used to see wrestling more often, back in the day, I could not stand Mick Foley, Mankind, Mr.Socko, whatever he was called. I thought he was so messy and dirty! Well, Mr. Little Man Adrian likes to play with one of his socks. He takes it off and then he puts it on his hand. Forget toys, he likes to play with Mr. Socko!! If he goes to sleep with his sock on his hand, he will wake up in the morning, looking for his sock, to put it back on! (As per daddy) I think it's cute. Unless we are in a hurry and on the go, and when we are ready to get off the car, Adrian is missing one of his shoes and sock! He will do this everyday! So maybe I should carry around an extra sock for him?

ON another note: The NY GIANTS BEAT THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!! SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!

**Las Chimuelas**

This time around Adrian knocked Ally's tooth out! Literally, he kinda hit Ally in the mouth and the tooth just flew out!!! It was so funny! I could tell something was up when Adrian hit Skyla. She gave me a weird look and she ran to the restroom! When she came back, she was bleeding and she was cleaning herself with toilet paper. I asked her if her tooth had come out and she said "YES!" She did not know where it had gone! I figured she had eaten it! I started looking around where she was sitting in the living room floor.....and I found her little itty bitty tooth! I'm so happy that she lost this tooth here at home. She lost her 1st one at school. My chiquitita is growing! Hailey Nicole also lost one of her upper front tooth this week! Las chimuelas!! Thank God the teeth fell already, I would feel real weird when I would see their teeth all dangly!! EWE! BTW...Ally said "thank you Adrian!" (Tooth was lost on Friday, Feb 1, 2008)

ON another subject: I was able to exhange my damaged camera for another one!! Mee soo haappy!

100th DAY!

Now I plan to blog for 100 days straight! YEAH RIGHT!! Just kidding. Today was my baby girl's 100th day of school. At Ed Downs Elementary, where Allyson Skyla goes, they did a big fun celebration. They asked for parent volunteers, and of course, I had to go!! It was so much fun. My friend, Josie was there too! We paired up and played BINGO with the kiddos. I thought I was going to lose my voice! De tando reir y hablar! You know, the loudness in me came out...wait a minute, isn't it always out?

One of the teachers even said she wanted to be in our group, because it seemed like that's where the party was at. They had several acivities in the cafeteria. For example, they had bowling, exercise station, making necklaces out of Froot Loops & Cheerios, coloring the # 100, relay races, hop-scotch, legos, guessing games, rhyming games, and a whole bunch more! I thought I was going to be sent to the principal's office, for having too much FUN! The children are so so cute and funny, Oh and smart!! It made me very happy to see my shy Ally being so interactive and non-shy. She won one of the relay races! My chiquita! I LOVE YOU MAMMAS! I took some pics with my phone! Because Adrian threw my digital camera in the tub! :( Hopefully I can exchange it this weekend!
