Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Our little Allyson Skyla is growing. This year she turned 7. Since now we have our comfy home, we did her a birthday party here. She went with the Spongebob theme. Since Spongebob lives under the sea, we went with a pool/slide/wet party.

Ally had a great turn out and she had a blast. I love parties but I hate the way I stress out. After all those "What if's" it was ALL worth it. Thank God my sister & mother in law helped the way they did. Of course, my baby did all the cooking of the Krabby Patties.

Whether you were planning to get wet or not that afternoon, YOU did get at least a little wet. We had water guns, water balloons, etc. Not to mention, after I would get off the water slide, I would go hug someone who was dry.

Sky received many wonderful gifts and she's very grateful. Thank you everyone :)

NOTE TO SELF: DO NOT buy Allyson a pinata next year. She did not even want to take ONE swing @ SpongeBob.

March '09 Live Stock Show Carnival Nite

We laughed so much when the girls, Allyson & Hailey tried crossing the end of this ride. She's gonna kill me for putting this vid, but I had to.

Skyla did a lot better the 2nd time around :)

H1N1 (Swine)

By far, this darn Swine Flu thing has been one of the most freakiest things I'm having to live through. Most of these things I've heard only through movies, TV shows, or in other countries! I'm chosing not to be scared of it, but I am still taking any precautions I can take, like washing my hands every 30 seconds. (Kidding) I feel like Jack Nickolson in "As Good As It Gets." He was always washing his hands and would try to be extra sanitary.
I work at a health clinic and some of our staff are wearing the masks. When I walk through those areas, I feel I have to hold my breath!
SBCISD and several surrounding school districts have cancelled classes for this week. Mexico on the other had has closed down restaurants, stores, etc. Anyways, just had to blog so I wouldn't forget....
Hand sanitizers rule!
