Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
Our little Allyson Skyla is growing. This year she turned 7. Since now we have our comfy home, we did her a birthday party here. She went with the Spongebob theme. Since Spongebob lives under the sea, we went with a pool/slide/wet party.
Ally had a great turn out and she had a blast. I love parties but I hate the way I stress out. After all those "What if's" it was ALL worth it. Thank God my sister & mother in law helped the way they did. Of course, my baby did all the cooking of the Krabby Patties.
Whether you were planning to get wet or not that afternoon, YOU did get at least a little wet. We had water guns, water balloons, etc. Not to mention, after I would get off the water slide, I would go hug someone who was dry.
Sky received many wonderful gifts and she's very grateful. Thank you everyone :)
NOTE TO SELF: DO NOT buy Allyson a pinata next year. She did not even want to take ONE swing @ SpongeBob.

Miss Blogging
Lately my time has been spent with our children, hubby, work, house stuff, and of course NEW MOON. I have several ways of accessing the book. Anyways, tonight Ally asked me when I was going to finish reading the book. (I promise, I don't read it as much as I could. I have been reading it for about 1 month or so.) She asked me because she wants me to spend more time with her. I told her I would always stop reading for her.
The funny part was when I asked her "Mama, what if when I finish the book, I turn into a vampire?" Oh, she gave me this funny scary look. I pretended to go for her neck, as to bite her. She pulled away and seriously got creeped out.
Afterwards, I laid down to watch the Parent Trap with her. When daddy attempted to turn off the light in her room a little later, she begged him not to. I had to explain to him why. Now she doesn't want me to kiss her. I think it's funny. But maybe I shouldn't scare her that way.
I hope to be blogging more often. I have things to BLOG about!
P.S. I really have to send a shout out to all my Twilight friends, LOL. BTW, thanks so much @digiSal for the hook ups :)Thursday, February 12, 2009
3 Teeth In 3 weeks

On February 3rd Ally lost her 3rd tooth in a 3 weeks span! I hope that's normal! Here's a story of how she has lost all her 5 teeth.
- She lost it at school, literally, LOST it. She was sad because she thought the tooth fairy was not coming. She did come though. (Kinder)
- Adrian knocked out her 2nd tooth. They were playing around and he accidentally did it. Was so funny! (Kinder)
- Her 3rd one she woke up without it. She found it by her pillow. She ran to show it to me! (1st grade)
- The 4th tooth she recently lost was not even loose!!! But she bit and apple and Baaaa! (1st grade)
- The 5th one she Lost while biting an orange. (1st grade)
I feel bad for my baby. No front teeth :( But I love to see her smile, I guess she forgets she's missing teeth and smiles like she's got ALL her teeth. Que chula :)

The Bean Project

I can still remember doing the same project in school. Ally was so excited! She grew one at school, but the day she brought it home, it broke, so.... she grew another one at home! She would water it, and put in by the window for sunlight. And the pictures above are the end result. I hope she continues to like school as much as she does right now.

Hot Mamma!

My baby doll went for a hair cut about 2 weeks ago. I know it took me a while to post it but here she is. I could not believe my eyes after we left the hair salon! What can I say? She's my little darling. She looks so beautiful! I think she kinda poses like mommy :D
Abel and I were ready to cut her hair. I just asked the lady to cut in layers, and BAM! A hot(er) mamma appeared...
Ally Sky is happy with her new hair style and so are we!

Treinta Y Uno
I would have liked to have a grande finale, but I don't. I thought about posting 31 pics, but I won't. I'm feeling under the weather, because of my throat.
And now, Abel turned on the AC, better grab a coat. Speaking of Abel, tomorrow he'll be getting on a boat! I would like to go, but incase the boat flips, I don't know how to float!
Ally walked out of JCP today with this Little Ducky!! Without paying for it!!! Of course, we returned it and gave her the lecture. This is the second time this happens to us at the Sunrise Mall! Next time we go, our pictures are going to be posted, banning us!Thursday, October 30, 2008
Follow your dreams, Don't Do Drugs Day
Mija always gets embarrased when I whip out my camera at school. I know she will thank me one day. I wanted to take more pictures of her little friends as well, BUT my battery died!! This week has been drug awareness week. Everyday they have had an activity of some sort. I don't remember doing anything like this in school? I'm glad they do it now though. Had I known drugs were bad, I would have never done them.. JUST KIDDING!!!! I've never done any type of illegal drugs, I promise!!! I've been told I might act like I'm on them, but NOPE, none of that JUNK in my system :) Thursday, October 23, 2008

Adrian no likey pool...
This past Saturday my bro & sis in law set up a pool. Ally was playing in it and Adrian was just playing outside. He kept throwing toys in and we'd give'em back to him and so on. One of those times, he kinda leaned on the pool wall and down he went. And out went the water! He just froze and started to cry. It looked so funny! At the same time, I ran over there to rescue him. Well, the pool was on the drive way, it was slippery, and down I went! I ended up getting wet as well! So I just got in the pool with Adrian. He still didn't like it, so we got out. Boy was I fresh the rest of the afternoon. Mmmm, then Nacho grilled some burgers and hot dogs, that just hit the spot!

"I want a new mommy!"

Must I blog everything? Well, I just want for Ally to read this, sometime in the future.
Every time she gets mad at me "I want a new mommy!" are the first words out of her mouth, or "you're mean!" I always correct her and tell that she shouldn't be telling me that and that it's not very nice! Last night, after I instructed her to take a bath, she told me that again! Same drill...
While I was drying her up, I told her that I was going to find her a new mommy. Of course, she gets all scared and started crying. She would tell me how much she loved me. I would insist with the idea of a new mommy, and she would cry even more. Finally, I told her that I was going to find her a new mommy on the computer. That the next time she saw me on the computer, that meant I was looking for a new mommy for her... this was her response "I don't want you to go to MOMS.COM!" Boy, did this make me laugh!!

NOTE TO SELF: As she read my blog, she started crying again.... she really thought I was looking! (The benefits of her knowing how to read) Now she's just hugging me, telling me how much she loves me, and she won't get off ME! She keeps saying "I told you not to go to MOMS.COM!" "I love you!" I LOVE YOU TOO BABY!!!
I had to keep clarifying to her that I was not on that website!

Kinder Awards Ceremony
This is my Skyla's first awards ceremony. I wish they would've had a graduation ceremony :( But this was still fun for me and my hunny. Ally received an award for The Book It Club, NO tardies for the entire year, and of course, her Kindergarden Certificate. We are so proud of our little darling. This year she got tested for the GT program and she passed her test!! I pray that she always do good in school.
I learned that now a days, kids can graduate from high school with about 60hrs of college? That would be a junior! OMG, all of it without the parents having to pay extra! College books alone are super expensive! I will always encourage our children to do better. It will all be worth it in the end.
Way to go Mamas! I know you will do great in 1st grade. Meanwhile, enjoy your "alot of days of summer" (as she says)

Hanging out with the ANIMALS...
I accompanied Allyson and her little classmates on their field trip today. We went to the Glady's Porter Zoo. We had fun and thank God it wasn't that hot. She was paired up with Gabriela. Gabriela was a little more daring than Ally. Skyla did not want to touch any animals! But her little friend touched several animals, including a snake!!!! Not even I dared touch that one. Time went by so fast, I feel we didn't even get to see all the animals. It also felt good being out of work for a day. I'm grateful for my job, but a day off during the week is nice.
After the zoo we went to eat at Peter Piper Pizza. My sister-in-law was also there because my niece was also eating there. Hailey had gone to the Art Museum. The girls got to play together :) My sister-in-law paid for my lunch, awe, how nice. (Buffet...2 for the price of 1, hee hee)
After being in the sun and eating, mommy had to go cool down at a place called "Sunrise Mall." The End.

Six Blessed Years
Ally's birthday was on May 9th. She turned six years. I took her candy bags, cupcakes, cookies, and juices to her classroom. Later that night, we celebrated at Peter Piper Pizza. She was so happy, which made us happy. Adrian and Ally are such big blessings in our lives. So anytime we can do anything to make them happy and smile, were there! Three of her little school friends showed up at Peter Piper Pizza. She was excited.
I love you baby doll!!! She had a Hanna Montana party. The little girls got glittery lip glosses in their baggies :) Boys got hacky sacks, putty, or crayons. Now she is a big girl.

100th DAY!
Now I plan to blog for 100 days straight! YEAH RIGHT!! Just kidding. Today was my baby girl's 100th day of school. At Ed Downs Elementary, where Allyson Skyla goes, they did a big fun celebration. They asked for parent volunteers, and of course, I had to go!! It was so much fun. My friend, Josie was there too! We paired up and played BINGO with the kiddos. I thought I was going to lose my voice! De tando reir y hablar! You know, the loudness in me came out...wait a minute, isn't it always out?
One of the teachers even said she wanted to be in our group, because it seemed like that's where the party was at. They had several acivities in the cafeteria. For example, they had bowling, exercise station, making necklaces out of Froot Loops & Cheerios, coloring the # 100, relay races, hop-scotch, legos, guessing games, rhyming games, and a whole bunch more! I thought I was going to be sent to the principal's office, for having too much FUN! The children are so so cute and funny, Oh and smart!! It made me very happy to see my shy Ally being so interactive and non-shy. She won one of the relay races! My chiquita! I LOVE YOU MAMMAS! I took some pics with my phone! Because Adrian threw my digital camera in the tub! :( Hopefully I can exchange it this weekend!
