Pac-Man ghosts...

My babies were playing with my bellydancing veils. They were having so much fun! I had the pac-man ghosts right in my living room! Love ya kiddoes!!! MUAH!!

We had dinner at La Playa tonight, and Adrian was so hyper! He is such a cutie though! (What can a mommie say???) He was messing with Daddy's shades. I had to pull out my camera and shoot some pics. After a while, he started to pose.....

Can We Budget?

Lately we have been so excited about purchasing a home. It all started June 11th. We saw a home for the first time on that day. By the next day, I was at a mortgage place. We got approved! Although we had to turn that home down because our payments were going to be too much. The one good thing that came out of that was that it opened our eyes and the doors to hopefully getting a home, a cheaper one. We had never made any type of attempt. We'd always be saying "Someday" "Someday".... We didn't know that someday would be this soon. It is fun!

We already have our eye on a home here in San Benito, on Bonham street(behind Dolly Vinsant Hosp). Please pray that everything works in our favor. A well built home, a great price, good negotiating, very affordable payments, sturdy income to pay for it all, and for it to become our warm cozy home one day :)I have told the Lord that it is up to him. If this is not the one that is meant for us, we will keep looking. We just ask for his guidance.

Back to budgeting.... I will try my hardest to budget. I know it will be easier for Babel than for me. I tried my best tonight. I went to Wal-Mart with a list of 3 things to purchase. (Patting myself on the back) I purchased only those 3. Maybe I can do thing budgeting thing? I was so proud of myself! Because I always manage to walk out with alot more than what I needed. I was focused and did not wonder around.

OH, and in preparation of our move. We have started to clean out as much as possible. Hopefully we will hear something this week. We should be meeting with the realtor and the mortgage lady again. Please pray for us, I appreciate it.

Adrian no likey pool...

This past Saturday my bro & sis in law set up a pool. Ally was playing in it and Adrian was just playing outside. He kept throwing toys in and we'd give'em back to him and so on. One of those times, he kinda leaned on the pool wall and down he went. And out went the water! He just froze and started to cry. It looked so funny! At the same time, I ran over there to rescue him. Well, the pool was on the drive way, it was slippery, and down I went! I ended up getting wet as well! So I just got in the pool with Adrian. He still didn't like it, so we got out. Boy was I fresh the rest of the afternoon. Mmmm, then Nacho grilled some burgers and hot dogs, that just hit the spot!

Endorphin Rush

So, the new location to the gym I go to is now open. I finally made my way to it this past Friday. I had a blast! I did the 5:00 a.m. aerobic class and afterwards I had to try out some machines. This new place is so crowded with machines. I feel like I am surrounded by robots or something. I think it is cool! I was going to count the machines, but they were too many. For sure they have over 30 treadmills over 20 some ellipticals, gosh, too many other machines to mention.

I hopped on this machine that is a 3 in 1. For sure it is a stepper and an elliptical. I don't know what the third thing is? I really liked this machine. I couldn't get the hang of it in the beginning, but I got it and did it for over 20 min. They say that the stepper is a good exercise to do. I also worked on my biceps, triceps, chest, shoulders, and calves.

Some gyms do not let you take pics, I don't know if this one does, but I managed to take some pictures. I was trying to be sneaky. Everytime I would take a picture, I would laugh, wonder if I looked crazy? (Hope I just didn't set myself up... hee hee) Where are the pics? In my phone! I can't copy them to my computer! Like always, things can't go my way :( I will try to post them later.

There was this machine that I wanted to try, but it looked so complicated. I didn't even know where to start....so I skipped it. Anyways, I had a great workout, and I am looking forward to continue going.

When you workout, endorphins are released; therefore, you're a happy person. Well, that's according to Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde." Actually they are neurotransmitters found in the brain that have pain-relieving properties similar to morphine. Whatever.....

For several years now, I had dreamed of owning a Chevy Tahoe. My sister has owned 2 or 3 that I can remember. Whenever she would come over, I would love to drive them. I would even take them to H.E.B. all by myself, and I would feel all cool. I would always tell her that if she wanted to leave it here, that it would be fine with me.

I especially like the 2008 model. I never dared test drive one, I knew I would not want to get off. But now, thanks to GAS prices, I am so over them :( No way will I be working to pay for it and gas only. Heck no! I'd rather invest in a little scooter or a Harley (ay si). Scooters are becoming popular! A co-worker has purchased one, can't wait to see it.

I used to drool (not really, but you know what I mean) when I'd see one out in the streets, I DROOL NO MORE!!!

Sex and The City

I can't believe I had not posted that I went to go see "Sex and The City" the movie, exactly 1 week ago. More less this time! Several friends and I went to go see the premiere showing at midnight last Thursday! It was so much fun!

First we had dinner at Chili's, then we headed out to the theatre. The movie was showing on 3 screens! It was a blast! I got home at almost 3 in the morning! Hey, I had permission!! I used to see the show on HBO all the time! So when I heard there was a movie coming out, I was so excited! Counting down the days....It was about 10 of us or so that sat all together. We all loved the movie. It made us cry! So many women at the movies that night! Oh, and some boyfriends, didn't look like alot of hubbies... ha ha ha! You know how it is, as boyfriends, everything is "Yes, babe, I love you!" And as hubbies "Well....... maybe......I'm tired.......the kids........great, go ahead and go with your friends!" J/K. Babel said he would've taken me :)

Oh, and like one of my friends said "we were the only one's taking pictures!" Ha ha!

I will not say the ending, incase someone hasn't seen it.

"I want a new mommy!"

Must I blog everything? Well, I just want for Ally to read this, sometime in the future.

Every time she gets mad at me "I want a new mommy!" are the first words out of her mouth, or "you're mean!" I always correct her and tell that she shouldn't be telling me that and that it's not very nice! Last night, after I instructed her to take a bath, she told me that again! Same drill...

While I was drying her up, I told her that I was going to find her a new mommy. Of course, she gets all scared and started crying. She would tell me how much she loved me. I would insist with the idea of a new mommy, and she would cry even more. Finally, I told her that I was going to find her a new mommy on the computer. That the next time she saw me on the computer, that meant I was looking for a new mommy for her... this was her response "I don't want you to go to MOMS.COM!" Boy, did this make me laugh!!

NOTE TO SELF: As she read my blog, she started crying again.... she really thought I was looking! (The benefits of her knowing how to read) Now she's just hugging me, telling me how much she loves me, and she won't get off ME! She keeps saying "I told you not to go to MOMS.COM!" "I love you!" I LOVE YOU TOO BABY!!!

I had to keep clarifying to her that I was not on that website!

So many inflatables!

At the school Allyson attends, they put together an "End of the Year Carnival." I was fortunate enough to help her classroom. We were in charge of making "raspas." Like always, I had fun! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw so many inflatables! I wanted to jump on some of them!

Our little darling had a blast! So did all the other children. Oh, Oh, the kids were only allowed, if they wanted, 1 snow cone, 1 popcorn, 1 cotton candy, and 1 water. We would have to mark them after we gave them either one. There was one little girl that had already had a raspa. She obviously knew they were allowed 1 of each. I say this because she was covering her bracelet that had already been marked for a raspa. When she was asked for her wrist, to mark her, she hesitated. I was already laughing when I saw her coming, because I remembered her. I was laughing even more when she was being all sneaky. Nevertheless, I still prepared her another raspa.

As a youngster, I had always wanted to work at the raspa stand. Well, I guess you could say I finally tried it. I would do the same thing as the professionals... poke the middle of the ice to make sure and fill it with syrup to the top. We only had two flavors/colors, yet the kids would ask for one we didn't have...like I said...It was fun!

A Princess Tea Pool Party

Today is my nieces birthday. Her name is Carla Nicole and she turned 5 years old. My sister said she couldn't wait to be 5. She had a fun party in Mcallen, at her grandparents house. I wish I could post pictures tonight, but I can't. I left my dead battery charging on my sister's charger over in Mcallen. Darn!! Anyways, my niece wanted for all the girls to wear a dress and a hat. Which we all listened. It was fun to see everyone dressed up! After some pictures, we jumped into the "piscina." The water was P-E-R-F-E-C-T! Although Ally and Adrian didn't let me enjoy it much. It's ok, I'll remember how they were a little afraid. Afterwards we dried up, changed, and ate. Mmmm, my sister's father in law makes some MEAN fajitas. I have to say, they are some of the bestest fajitas I have had :D (Don't get babe! :P) The kiddos ate Pizza :) I love my sister and niece and nephew. Have I told mentioned she lives in Virginia? Well, she does, but she is down for about 2 weeks.

Adrian and Sebastian looked so cute running around playing. When Sebastian would run away, Adrian would run after him. Adrian would be yelling B-A-A-A-B-Y-Y-Y-! And Adrian is 3 months younger! Can't wait to get together again.

On the way back home Ally said "But mommy, at a tea party your supposed to drink tea from a little tea pot in the little cups." I already forgot what I answered her, but she made us laugh. :)
