Another type of Love

My mom showed up today to plant some "Teresitas" for Skyla. My mom is doing this out of he kindness of her heart. Plants, flowers & gardening is one of my mom's & grandma's FAVORITE past time.

Before I walked outside with my mom, I was observing her from my front door. I began to feel this weird feeling. My heart was beating at a different speed. Or a different rhythm? You see, my mom is just something else. We can't always feel her closeness or love or I don't know how to explain this. But I guess seeing her out there, just tugged my heart. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT HER. What's amazing is that we don't talk or see each other as often as we should. Who's responsible for this, dunno? Every parent has their own way of showing LOVE. And I must learn to accept how my mom is.

I finally grabbed my camera and went outside. I was able to snap the pics without her noticing (Except for the last one). She was passing on some of her gardening tips and she was giving me instructions on how to water the Teresitas. The other day it was a good cloudy day here in the RGV and she took advantage by spending the entire day in therapy, aka...Gardening :)

I even got into it and grabbed "The Pala" (Shovel). I can see where this all could be relaxing and serve as a distraction from other stuff. I must buy me some gloves though. I don't think that having dirt under my nails is sexy, hehe.

And now it's raining..... thanks cutting the water bill for me :D

LOVE YA MAMI!
