The ONE Time

It only took seconds to get my husband fired up.

Today we had a meeting at 5:30 and it lasted about 2 hours, so I had a LONG day of work.  I got home to a surprise BBQ! After my husband’s long day of work, he grilled dinner. That alone made my evening a whole lot better. But before we got to serving ourselves, as he was cooking flour tortillas, I asked if someone had gotten the mail? I was expecting a flyer my friend had told me would be in the mail. As soon as I asked about the mail, my husband asked me if I was expecting something, to which I answered... yes!! He got so fired up, because he gets the mail everyday, and NEVER throws ANYTHING away, but the ONE time he does throw “something” away, I NEED IT!?!? He’s says that it never fails. The one time he throws something away, I “happen” to need it. Oh, not only did he throw away my flyer, he ripped it up into pieces!! I could not hold back my laughter!! He was bothered, and I was the total opposite. My sweet man. I will never forget how funny the entire situation was.  

Cut & Paste

Is anybody out there? Wow. It’s been years since my last blog post!!! Being here right now brings back good memories. Memories of a friend that has always encouraged me to blog. I’m grateful for that friend. Maybe I’ll start blogging again. Wait... I just did! It’s not a big post, but it’s a beginning. It’s raw & real. We have to start somewhere.  

Note to self... I had accidentally created an entire new BLOG. But like always, my digi friend came in clutch. So I cut n pasted this post.
