A Zone, A Zoom, A Zum Fun

On Friday afternoon, Abel and I closed on our house. So we decided to go out and celebrate. Abel, the kids, and I went to have dinner at The Macaroni Grille in Mcallen. While the rest of the gang hung out at Wallbangers. We had never been to the Macaroni Grille. It was a lot of good food. Ally was not willing to betray her Olive Garden Chicken Parmesan, so she did not taste it at TMG.

After dinner, we all met at the The Zone in Mcallen. When we got there, there was a company party going on. We were not allowed to go in until 9 p.m. To Abel, that was an eternity. I kept trying to stall, while HE was NOT! In the end, the kids and I prevailed. My hunny was a good sport.

I took pics, while Juan took a video. We all had a blast! It was fun passing your friends on the track! NOTE TO SELF: Do NOT wear sandals, wear tennis. OR else you will have to rent some tennis like Sal! I can't describe the water game/ride/area. But by the pics, you can tell it was an experience :D Can't wait to head out there again!!

Cool date for us to do our closing, huh? Even the Olympics started this day. Last Friday we closed or signed tons of paperwork to purchase our house, soon to be home :) I was off from work and Abel took a break from work to go sign away. We met at about 4 p.m. It started to feel like more of a reality. We have been at this for well over a month, maybe even close to 2 months!!

The beginning of a new chapter in our lives. The beginning of tons of things to do :)

Well, now it's official... We have a mortgage payment :) Because of that we went to go celebrate at...... TO BE CONTINUED ON THE NEXT BLOG................

P.S. We did not fake anything during the pics. All smiles were true. The pens had real ink. It's all real baby! I had to ask for pics, and to my surprise, Abel just surrendered.
